It's time to wipe off last year's mud from your festival wellies, don your favourite festival attire and bundle yourself down to the Sussex countryside for a weekend of partying!
In celebration of my imminent completion of thirty laps around the shiny star we call our Sun, I warmly invite you to a weekend of live music, great food, singing/dancing, camping/glamping, campfires, general frolicking and, of course, your intoxicant(s) of choice.
The party will start on Friday 4th May (timing TBC) and will keep going until Monday 7th (don't forget it's bank holiday - woop!).
There will be live bands on the Saturday night, delicious vegan food provided every day (you'll need to bring breakfast and snacks etc but I'll be making sure everyone is well looked after - volunteers for food prep very welcome!), and plenty of time for music jams, games and general silliness.
We have exclusive use of a beautiful piece of land (with big lawns, woodland paths, open fires etc) with an absolutely stunning view across the valley. It really is a special place and I hope you can share it with me!
The venue is all paid for but to cover extra costs associated with the camping/glamping (and with feeding all you hungry party goers!) I'm asking for contributions from everyone. So for 3 x nights (i.e. Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with at least one meal a day the total cost per person will be:
£60 - bring and pitch your own tent
£120 - communal glamping (up to 5 people per luxury bell tent)
£200 - couples glamping (luxury bell tent to yourselves)
All glamping options includes a luxury decked out bell tent, with posh camping beds, reclaimed wooden tables, incense burners, carpet flooring, lanterns, water container, solar shower bag and cool box. There is some flexibility around the communal glamping so if you have any special requests re who you want to share with, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.
To make things simpler for everyone, I've set up this event page so if you're planning to come, please buy a ticket for the camping/glamping through here.
The venue is a five-minute drive from Etchingham, East Sussex, which is an hour's train ride from London.
Don't forget your wellies, snacks, booze, tents etc as the nearest small shop is a 10 minute walk away and the nearest big supermarket is at least a 15 min drive away (we'll probably have a supermarket delivery at some point so can add things if needs be)
The site has composting loos but no showers (unless you're glamping and then you'll have solar showers included), so don't forget the baby wipes and dry shampoo ;)
Can't wait to share this special weekend with all you lovely folk. I hope you can make it!
