Kally Sleep set out on a mission to identify the causes and effects of sleeplessness on modern society, with the aim of finding solutions which actually work. Be it snoring, neck pain, hip pain, anxiety, sports-related injury, surgical recovery (the list is endless!), what became clear during the research is that many of us sleep poorlysleep poorly and don’t know where to seek advice or search for solutions.
Trust us, if you're struggling to sleep scrolling, messaging and watching videos won't help. The blue light that comes from your phone suppresses the natural production of melatonin (the hormone you need to feel sleepy) and disrupts your body’s circadian rhythms making it harder to fall and stay asleep
Why should we sleep? We often neglect the importance of sleep as part of our daily routine, despite the negative impact we know poor sleep has on our physical and mental health and well-being. The average person spends 26 years of their life sleeping (and 7 years getting to sleep!), so this is something we need to take seriously.
