Epigram Books is an independent publisher based in Singapore. Since its incorporation in July 2011, it is known for putting together well-designed and thought-provoking titles. In the last four years, it has swept the major literary prizes in Singapore.
It is best known for the bestselling graphic novel The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye by Sonny Liew, which won three Eisners, the first Singaporean title to achieve this. Its middle-grade series, The Diary of Amos Lee, has sold more than 250,000 copies around the world. Epigram Books has also published landmark translations of novels and short story collections by Cultural Medallion winners, fresh fiction by emerging authors, and republished out-of-print novels for a new generation of readers.
