The intention of this group is to organise a sustainable community from scratch. There are many projects with similar goals to this already out there, but this project is slightly different in that it aims to avoid any dependence on the monetary economy or, in a broader sense, ownership in general. The idea of ownership and the monetary economy, in this day and age, are very difficult concepts to avoid, especially regarding the conception of a community that will require land and resources. But, inevitably these concepts are unsustainable and seem to eventually always lead to inequality, power struggle, corruption and many other unpleasantries that oppose sustainability and a healthy society. This group varies further in that it aims at focusing on the integration of indigenous Australian cultural practises and introduced European practises. This intention hopes to combine the comfort of European refinement with the sustainable and practical indigenous traditions more suited to the potentially extreme Australian environment.
