What joins the two is a little quodlibet (an old compositional technique), a little Bachian polyphony, and a sprinkle of a child’s imagination. In the same spirit, all proceeds are pledged to the Singapore Children’s Society, whose mission is to bring relief and happiness to children in need. Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 – 1750) was an eminent composer of the Baroque period, often referred to as the Father of Western music. By contrast, The Beatles (1960 – 1970) were a British band that took ‘Rock & Roll’ into the era of mass music we know today.
