It is turning the famous 'Garden City' concept by Ebenezer Howard on its head to become a 'City in a Garden'. It is not an easy task, with many stakeholders coming together to build this new-age environmentally sustainable city. Kicking off in the heart of Bras Basah cultural district, we'll explore environmentally certified buildings of tomorrow and experience the contrast to traditional shophouses from the past. With the bustling city scape on our mind, in the next phase of our walk, we experience the fundamentals of sustainable urban planning which are density and public transportation.Funds from tickets will go to support the efforts and work of Billion Bricks.
