There's been some interest in visiting Green Valley Farms, also popularly known as GV by some. GV is a plot of land leased out to a private company, which in turn leases out to people like you and I. It's a large plot of land with different plot holders, and some families rent the space and make it into a family activity. This Sunday, we'll be dropping by in the morning to say hi to two farmers who have agreed to show us around their farming plots. One of them has agreed to give us a tour of the other plots as well (yay), and there's a chance we'd see other farmers that morning to stop and chat with. Good chance to see lots of green things growing, good for a morning stretch and exercise, good to ask questions about the farm :)After which, we will be headed to the Kranji countryside for the Kranji Countryside Farmers' Market​--for those who've been there, you know what a buzz it is, and for those who haven't, come with us, we'll show you around!Contact person: Huiying Ng​, 92204806To manage the group size we can take about 10 people max, give or take a few. Timings (tentative; we'll update again)9:15am: meet at GV entrance9:15am-10:30am thereabouts: plot visits and tour11am: leave for Kranji, lunch on the way. any good/cheap food places to recommend?2pm: Kranji Farmers' Market Day 2 officially opens, you're free to roam.
