Join Upside Motion in a never-before-seen pop-up studio concept: Raising the Barre.Raising the Barre charity Xtend Barre class will take place on a moving boat in the Marina Bay area.Xtend Barre is a ballet and Pilates-based workout accompanied by an upbeat playlist, typically done in a closed studio setting. Raising the Barre is set to bring a whole new experience to the exercise with this open-boat setting on the Singapore River, with breathtaking views of landmarks like the Fullerton Bay Hotel, the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands at sunset.Our instructor Beatriz will conduct two sessions of Xtend Barre classes for the Raising the Barre charity event. Session 1: 5.00pm – 6.30pmSession 2: 6.30pm – 8.00pmPickups will be done at Clifford Pier, at 5.00pm for Session 1 and 6.30pm for Session 2.You are currently viewing the event listing for Session 1. If you do not have your own pair, please purchase the ticket+socks option.50% of the proceeds from Raising the Barre will be donated to UN Women in support of their relief efforts for the recent Nepal earthquakes. The funds will go to efforts such as creating multipurpose safe spaces for vulnerable women, preventing and responding to gender-based violence against women and children, and supplying dignity kits for female-headed households and women with disabilities.
