Greetings from the Singapore Scout Association (SSA)! From November 17-22 of November, 2015, SSA will be organizing the SG 50 Jamboree as part of the National SG 50 celebrations. The Jamboree will encompass wholesome Scouting activities, including camping and nature-based outdoor activities. You will see a sea of tents and spellbound by the camaraderie you experience amongst the diverse cultures you encounter. This is the ultimate Scouting event; hosting 3000 youths from Singapore and other countries. Our local Scouts will meet their counterparts around the world, establishing friendships and bonding to last a lifetime. The outstanding programming will provide ample opportunities to learn about: Peace through Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities. Crossroads of Culture through exchange ideas and learn to understand and appreciate different cultures. Science and Technology which include the benefits and problems associated with advances in science, and robotics and automotive technologies. Community Service through providing services in the local community. Air, Sea and Adventure through activities that will highlight various unique aspects of scouting in Singapore. Join us now!
