Originally set in 19th century Germany, Spring Awakening deals with the intimate questions of puberty, sexuality, and school pressure in young teenagers. It prods deep into the issues we often skim over; the questions we don't know who to ask. The innocence, vulnerability, and hope of our young children. Students approach the play’s nineteenth century Germany themes of sexuality, abortion, suicide, and child abuse through a twentieth century America lens.Updatestag:peatix.com,2015-04-16 13:36:332015-04-16 13:36:33The event description was updated.
