As Edgar Dégas famously said,” painting is easy for those that do not know how, but very difficult for those that do!”At Artscape, participants may choose between some of the references we provide. However if you would like to use your own or just go without any, that's absolutely fine as well! The point of using the references is just to kickstart an idea and to get things rolling. We encourage free play and especially love the idea of breaking the rules.
