☆English after Japanese.☆終了時間については下記詳細に記載されている内容をご参照ください。=====================================お知らせ。この度ネパールで発生した地震で被災された方々に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。私たちは少しでも彼らの支援になればと思い、当イベント収益の一部をネパールの被災地支援の募金に充てたいと考えています。また当日は、会場にてネパールの地震被災地に向けて皆様からの寄付を募りたく考えております。何卒ご協力のほど宜しくお願いいたします。=====================================古来の”いけばな”をパフォーマンスに昇華、エレキベースや経との競演を果たした華道家。ニューヨークのタイムズスクエアでゲリラ茶会を敢行した茶道家。”日本文化をカジュアルに伝える”ことをミッションとした私たち「粋プロジェクト」は、そんな”アナーキー”な人たちと共に第一歩を踏み出しました。そして２０１５年新春には、スウェーデン人落語家と若き日本人剣士とのコラボレーション、そして先述の華道家によるピアノ、VJ、舞踊とのアートワークを披露するなど、従来の日本文化を知る方々からは「狂っている！」と言われてもおかしくない活動を続けて来ました。 「狂っている」・・・それは私たちにとって”褒め言葉”です。 私たちは、日本のみならず世界の宗教や歴史、文化などを、教養分野の第一線で活躍する専門家を招いて学んできました。世間から見ればまだまだ未熟に映るかもしれない私たち、しかもメンバーには「日本文化の何を知っているんだ？」と言われかねない外国人もいます。”青二才””狂人””異邦人”たちが集まり発足した「粋プロジェクト」は、今年１月に”自分たちの流儀”で日本文化を伝える試みを開催。日本人のみならず諸外国出身の人たちも参加し、いずれからも大絶賛のお声をいただきました。 そして２０１５年５月１０日。私たちは再び「粋でカジュアルな和の祭典」を開催します。日本文化一色だった前回から早くも脱皮、今回は海外から舞踊団をお招きしてお届けいたします。 日本と世界の文化が響き合い新たなものを生み出す３時間。題して「響～〜 What's "IKI" thing for you?〜～」の開催です。=====================================＊NOTICE＊We would like to offer our heartfelt sympathies to the victims of the earthquake, which occurred in Nepal on April 25. We've decided to donate part of proceeds made at this event to the affected areas. And we'll collect contributions from you for the victims at the event venue on May 10. Thank you very much.=====================================A practitioner of Japanese flower arrangement, who made an ikebana a performance and launched the show with a bassist and a buddhist priest - A tea master who held tea ceremonies in the middle of 5th Avenue and JFK Airport in New York - we "IKI Project" made a start with such "Abnormal" flame keepers. In the beginning of 2015, we organized the 1st big event which featured the collaboration between a Swedish rakugo performer and a young Japanese swordsman, the ikebana show which involved a pianist, video artists and a dancer. People who know the orthodox Japanese culture may say that we are crazy. Crazy - It's a COMPLIMENT for us. We've learned about religions, history, cultures of both Japan and the rest of the world from experts. We might be too young to deal with traditional things, and moreover we have some foreigners who are deemed to be unfamiliar with Japanese traditional culture. People may say we're punks, madmen and strangers. But we enjoyed huge success in sharing our own perspectives on Japanese culture with both Japanese and non-Japanese in our way in January 2015. Then we're going to hold the "Cool & Casual Japanese Fest" again on May 10. We'll invite a dance company from South America and bring you the cross-cultural teamworks. Japanese culture and other culture blend and new things will come out - that's what we are aiming at.
