This Saturday is a Door-Knock session to find out from 125 PG elders what is their desired appliance of need as well as to invite them to attend SG50 Project CARE main celebration cum lunch event on Sat, 9 May 2015. Programme description: SG50 Project CARE Meeting place: Blk 209 Boon Lay Place (Void Deck) Singapore 640209(http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_id_17330/travel_site_115474/5/) Getting there: Bus 99, 240 and 246 or Lakeside MRT (EW26) Meeting time: 9.15am at the void deck of Blk 209 Boon Lay Place. Please do not be late. Description of Roles:Door-Knock to find out from elders what they wish for an electric appliance of need and invite elders to attend SG50 Project CARE main event on Sat, 9 May 2015 from 9.30am to 1pm. Attire and logistics: Kindly come in comfortable attire and shoes with own writing pen and drinking water. Please confirm your participation as soon as possible so that we may arrange deployment. We have over 50 volunteers who will be paired up this Saturday. All volunteer deployment will be made in pairs/ groups as no volunteer is to call on an elder alone. Also, in every volunteer group, there must be volunteers who are able to speak our local dialects so as to be able to communicate and befriend the elders.
