デザイニング・アーティスト・アカデミー
過去5年間、夏の時期に国内外で活躍するアーティストと一緒に、様々な年齢の子供達を対象にセッションが東京インターナショナルスクールで行われました。セッションやワークショップを通して、子供達は様々なアートを体験し、それぞれの感性や想いを表現していきます。
デザイニング・アーティスト・アカデミーは、過去に辛い経験をして心に傷をおったまま、生きる事が難しく感じている子供達にとって癒しの場となっています。アカデミーの終了時には、子供達は特別イベントに参加しお祝いをします。
アーティスト、ボランディアメンバー、子供達が一緒になって作品や体験を作りあげていきます。
Designing Artist
Academy
Working with talented local and international artists, sessions are
developed for the various age groups at Tokyo International School for
the past 5 summers. Sessions and workshops typically include all of the
arts for the children to explore, enjoy and develop a passion around.
The Designing Artist Academy has been therapeutic for children
dealing with traumatic stress, low self-esteem and other
challenges. Upon completion of academy, children have a unique
opportunity to celebrate their participation at Designing Artists
Academy with an evening designed especially for them. Together artists,
volunteers and children have a chance to share their work and
experiences from the academy with the others.
