Shaping the Future | Inside the Creative Mind
Six British personalities from the worlds of architecture, television, music and cuisine will gather at ArtScience Museum, Singapore, to discuss creativity and the role it plays in today’s increasingly homogenized world. Orgainised by the British Council and ArtScience Museum, and curated by Pomeroy Studio, these leaders of their craft will provide unique and exciting insights into the creative process. Hosted by eco-architect, Prof Jason Pomeroy, the event will take place on the 11th March 2015 from 2:30pm – 5:30pm, and forms part of GREAT British Week 2015.

01 Prof Jason Pomeroy | Jason is an architect, masterplanner, academic and author. His designprojects and research works form the foundations of his multidisciplinary green design practice, Pomeroy Studio. He lectures and publishes widely, and is also the writer and TV presenter of the architecture travel series, “City Time Traveller”.
02 Jonathan Schütz | For the last two decades Jonathan has been making high-end, classic narrative documentaries around the world for channels including Nat Geo, Discovery, History, Travel Channel and has worked in genres that include History, Science, Technology, Travel, Social, Politics, and Business. He has set up Curly Lizard Films to realise some of his own, quirkier ideas.
03 Prof Anthony Bowne | Professor Anthony Bowne is Principal of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, the largest of the UK’s conservatoires. His career has included performing arts education and lighting design in theatre and in architecture. He is a member of the Mayor of London’s Cultural Strategy Group, whose role recognises the importance of creativity to the success of London.
04 Andrew Grant | Andrew formed Grant Associates to explore the creative possibilities of landscape architecture and sustainable development. He has worked on all scales and types of projects looking for innovative ways to reconnect our cities and lifestyles with the joy and wonder of the natural world. Gardens By the Bay, Singapore is a recent example of his work.
05 Stephen Pimbley | Stephen is the founder of Spark, an internationally-renowned, innovative architecture and design consultancy with a flair for creating convivial built environments. He has created landmarks retail projects in Singapore, Malaysia and Beijing that challenge the status quo of what retail experience should be.
06 Tim Ross-Watson | Tim is an accomplished chef and F&B consultant to some of Singapore’s most cutting edge dining establishments. His innovative techniques and methods to manipulate ingredients are continuously explored under his own label, Apple Pie Order.
