Mas Shafreen, The Band of Doodlers

Mas Shafreen (Wanton Doodle) started The Band of Doodlers in 2013 with the intent to create an inclusive platform to promote collaboration and co-creation through an accessible art form. They call themselves "white space bandits" and they are on a mission to rid the world of blank spaces by filling them with characters and doodles.

The Band of Doodlers currently has a stable of more than 100 artists, including renowned international illustrators. They meet almost every week for doodling events and performances or simply to bond and exchange ideas. The Band of Doodlers has doodled for Singapore Grand Prix, Starbucks, National Arts Council. They also have conducted workshops, visual recording exercises and team building activities to encourage camaraderie and self-discovery through doodling.

We're excited to hear from him this month and his take on our global theme 'INK'.

To improve the check-in process, we will be using Peatix ColorSync. The best way to get checked in as fast as possible, is to install the Peatix app for Iphone / Ipad or Android, and login.

Once you arrive at the venue, launch the Peatix app. It will immediately go to the CreativeMornings ticket screen and ask if you want to check-in. Once you have checked in, the background will start changing color. Just show the flashing screen to one of the organizers, and you can walk straight to the free coffee and breakfast.
