PureVitality Nutrition Concepts Pte Ltd presents a valuable, information packed session, designed to provide mothers with the opportunity to improve their own health and nutrition. This session is relevant for the mother who is considering bettering their own health.

Run by Karen Aroney, Nutritionist (ANutr) and Wellness Coach, and mother of young twins herself, content will include:
  • Ensuring adequate macro and micro-nutrient intake during breastfeeding and weaning stages,
  • Understanding 'Everyday' Foods vs 'Sometimes' Foods and how these fit into your daily diet,
  • Caring for and nurturing yourself by regularly eating from the essential food groups,
  • Preventing unnecessary weight gain,
  • Tips for achieving weight loss if desired or necessary for your health,
  • Mindful Eating.
As well as this being a great opportunity for mothers to meet others with similar concerns and experiences, research also indicates that children's eating behaviours are strongly modelled by their mothers - making it imperative that mothers are aware of how they need to eat to stay healthy for themselves and their families.
