In this course, we will be walking through the design process of creating our own wearable devices. We will take a look at the current materials and tools that can be used for wearable making, and we will learn about the process of embedding circuitry into clothing via soft circuits.
Teacher: Brigid Walsh
Brigid Walsh is an artist and educator who recently graduated with her Masters of Science from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering with a focus in Integrated Digital Media.
Brigid has had many years of experience teaching people both young and old about technology, but her special area of interest is in designing wearables. She's passionate about the new and exciting world of wearable computing, and rejoices in seeing the wonderful and inventive things people create when they aren't confined by the limits of preexisting conventions.
