※ If you are an English speaker, please scroll down for the translation.【釜石散策プログラム】KAMAISHI SCAVENGER HUNT ※以降ツアーと呼ばせていただきます。ラグビーワールドカップ開催のまち、釜石の魅力を体験しませんか？ ラグビーワールドカップ2019日本開催　釜石会場　「ナミビア代表vsカナダ代表」戦(10月13日) の翌日である10月14日月曜日、体育の日に　市の魅力を満喫できるお散歩ツアーを実施します！ 折角の旅行をより楽しみたい、ワールドカップ開催地のことをもっと知りたい、釜石市に興味がある、そんなお客様に、半日のツアーをご提供致します。 このプロジェクトは、釜石市を愛するUWC ISAK Japanと釜石市内の高校生達が、企画から運営まで行なっております。地域の方の皆様のご支援のもと、安全面にも細心の注意を払っております。釜石を訪れる観光客の皆さまを対象としたミッション型アクティビティーをゲーム感覚で楽しんでいただきます。当日お配りするカードに書かれた地元民がおすすめする釜石の「いいねスポット！」を歩いていただき、「また帰ってきたいと思う釜石」をみんな作るためのアクティビティーです！詳細は以下の通りです。開催日：10月14日　月曜日（体育の日）※雨天決行参加チケット料　：　1000円 　 当日お支払いください。 クラウドファンディングで一定金額以上のご支援をくださった方は無料招待券をご用意させて頂きます。 開催場所：岩手県釜石市内周辺　集合場所：釜石駅前定員数：最大40名　※現地集合・現地解散となっております。※本ツアーに宿泊場所、移動手段など一切ついてはおりませんので御了承ください。------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------皆さま、はじめまして！UWC ISAK Japan 「KAMAISHI PROJECT (釜石プロジェクト)」です！岩手県釜石市出身の生徒が本プロジェクトのリーダーを務めています。 KAMAISHI SCAVENGER HUNTまでの道のり 2019年10月 UWC ISAK Japanにて「KAMAISHI PROJECT（釜石プロジェクト）」を発足 UWC  ISAK Japanではリーダーシップ教育を強みにしており、教室の外におけるリーダーシップ教育の一環として奉仕活動であるCAS（創造性・活動・社会貢献）を実施しています。創造性（Creativity） – 芸術およびクリエイティブ・シンキング（創造的思考）を伴う経験活動（Activity） – 身体の鍛錬による健康的な生き方社会貢献（Service) – 生徒が学ぶ機会を得ることのできる無報酬のボランティア活動その活動の一つが「KAMAISHI PROJECT（釜石プロジェクト）」です。私たちは、2018年10月より岩手県釜石市を拠点に、本プロジェクトを立ち上げました。釜石市は、美しい自然に恵まれた場所です。同時に、2011年3月11日に起こった東日本大震災によって被災した町でもあります。「釜石のために何か自分たちでできることをしたい!」という強い意志から集まった11人で活動しています。釜石に2018年の秋に初めて訪れ、釜石の温かい方々から「釜石にもっと活気がほしい・人がほしい」という現地の声を聞きました。それから私たちは「釜石のために、明るく希望に満ち溢れたコミュニティーを取り戻す」をミッションに掲げ、釜石の関連人口の増加を目的に活動をはじめました。2019年3月メンバー6名で釜石を再訪問約半年後、再び釜石を訪れました。前回訪問以降、ミーティングを繰り返す中で、ツアーをするというプランを設定しました。釜石の高校生とラグビーワールドカップがが行われる2019年秋のツアーを実現させるため、釜石の高校生と共にアイデアを練る場を設けました。そのワークショップには約50名が参加してくれました！このワークショップで出たアイデアが本プログラムのベースとなっております。 UWC ISAK Japanとは？ ユナイテッド・ワールド・カレッジISAKジャパン（UWC ISAK Japan） は長野県軽井沢町に所在する３年制の全寮制インターナショナルスクール（高等学校）です。本校は、教育を通じて、人々や国や文化を結び、平和と持続可能な未来に貢献するという世界的なムーブメントの一躍を担うことを誇りにしつつ、社会において新たな社会変革を起こせる人材を育成うることを理念に掲げています。ー本校ホームページよりUWC ISAK Japan HPはこちらから※本プロジェクトは一般社団法人根浜MINDの協力のもと活動しています。--[Kamaishi Walking Program] KAMAISHI SCAVENGER HUNT* Hereafter referred to as tour.Why not experience the charm of Kamaishi City, one of the locations for the 2019 Rugby World Cup?Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan held in Kamaishi“Namibia National Team vs Canada National Team” (October 13th) will be held on Monday, October 14th. As part of leadership education outside the classroom, each student must take part in various activities as part of CAS (Creativity / Activity / Service).- Creativity – Experience with art, creative thinking and advocacy- Activity – Healthy lifestyle, Outdoor education (Ex: Hikes), sports- Service – Unpaid volunteers that give students the opportunity to engage with and give back to their local communityThere is an additional project component in which every student must complete a long-term undertaking that fulfills all three aspects of CAS. Hence, “KAMAISHI PROJECT” was created.In October 2018, we launched this project based in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture. Kamaishi City is blessed with beautiful nature.However, it was severely damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011.We, Kamaishi Project, are a team of 11 people who wanted to do something for Kamaishi.We visited Kamaishi for the first time in the fall of 2018, and met with the warm, local residents of Kamaishi, who told us that they "want Kamaishi to become as lively as before the tsunami."Therefore, we aim to “help create a bright and hopeful Kamaishi community”. In this vein we began to plan activities to achieve our aim of increasing Kamaishi’s resident population.March 20196 members revisit KamaishiAbout half a year later, we visited Kamaishi again.Between our previous visit and this one, we came up with a tour plan during our weekly meetings.We hoped to complete our tour plan during the Autumn of 2019, and therefore we held workshops to brainstorm ideas with high school students in Kamaishi.About 50 people participated in the workshop!The ideas from this workshop are the basis of this tour program.What is UWC ISAK Japan?United World College ISAK Japan (UWC ISAK Japan) is a three-year residential international school (high school) located in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture.The school is part of the UWC movement, which aims to unite people, nations and cultures through education for peace and a sustainable future.UWC ISAK Japan’s aim is to cultivate future leaders who can create social change.
