Celebrate the Year of the Goat with Linoleum Printing!Date: Tuesday, 3 February, 2015Time: 10am - 12.30pmVenue: Jennifer Lim Studio, Toa Payoh Fee: $120 (inclusive of materials and refreshments) Lino is easy to carve and can
quickly produce fantastic results! Learn the basics of linocut printing and create single-colour prints in this 2.5-hour workshop. All materials are provided and you'll take home 10 of your own hand-pulled prints and block to display. Participants will learn about image transfer, carving, proofing and editioning
from a friendly Australian artist. Choose from selected Chinese New
Year papercut-inspired designs or bring your own. We’ll be printing in red or
black ink or a combination!
Materials provided will include linoleum blocks, lino cutters, brayers, water-based inks, transfer
paper and acid-free papers. Linocut printing packs will also be available for
you to print at home later. Art frames can also be purchased and I’ll be happy
to help frame your work.
Participant numbers limited to four
persons for maximum student-teacher interaction. Please bring along an apron or old t-shirt.
