Its singers met each other during their nine-year education in fine arts as members of the St. Thomas Boys Choir Leipzig.Today the ensemble consists of the tenors Christian Pohlers and Paul Heller as well as the basses Felix Hübner, Lucas Heller and Lukas Lomtscher. Their repertoire ranges from Renaissance to modern age. The five young musicians attach great importance to the works of German Romantic composers, such as Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Schubert and Schumann.Through diverse projects and concerts an intensive cooperation with contemporary artists developed, such as Manfred Schlenker, Volker Bräutigam, St. Thomas Cantor Georg Christoph Biller and the vocal ensemble Sjaella.Ensemble Nobiles already performed in numerous services and concerts in different German cities. In July 2009, the ensemble had several guest performances in New Zealand.
