Following the showings there will be a short Q&A with the performers.午後３時３０分開場、午後４時から公演です。公演後、出演者との質疑応答の時間があります。On June 8th we will present Emily by Ashley Thorpe, directed by Thorpe and Richard Emmert and composed by Emmert. Emily is a new noh, that had a workshop showing in London in 2018. It's about the tragic ending of 20th century English Suffragette pioneer Emily Wilding Davison’s life and the tortured spirit of Herbert Jones who jockeyed the horse that trampled her. ６月８日はアシュリー・ソープ脚本、リチャード・エマート、ソープ演出、エマート作曲による「エミリー」の公演です。「エミリー」は２０１８年にロンドンで行なったワークショップが初舞台となった新作能で、２０世紀英国の婦人参政権運動の草分けで悲惨な最期を迎えたエミリー・ウィルディング・デイヴィソンの生涯と、競馬場で彼女を踏みつけた馬のジョッキーであったハーバート・ジョーンズの苦悩に満ちた魂を語る作品です。A full production of Emily will be performed in September of this year in London.「エミリー」の完成作品は今年の９月にロンドンで公演予定です。
