Speaker biography: Ashwin Subramaniam

Before Ashwin Subramaniam quit his 9-5 job in the banking sector in Singapore, he was a risk analyst who tinkered with social enterprise models. But an adventure inspired him to take the leap of faith. Now, the co-founder of Gone Adventurin’, Ashwin is a social entrepreneur leading the way to the future of sustainable business.

“I’m a firm believer that businesses and brands have a huge opportunity in tackling some of the pressing social and environmental challenges facing the world today… my social enterprise is just the proof of that!"

Outside of the world of social business, he is developing a keen interest in cycling, the art of mindfulness, earth sciences and understanding the relationship between humans and the natural world.
