It’s that time of year where we welcome the new chieftain, new committee and look forward to 2019/20. The AGM will take about 15 minutes, then we can tuck into the fabulous curry buffet and enjoy the Brain of St Andrew's Quizz with Scottish-themed prizes run by our very own Gordon "the Quizmaster" Inkson.The AGM starts at 7.30pm, with the curry/quiz around 7.45pm.Members $45 and non-members $55 for the curry and quiz, with welcome drinks included. The AGM is free.Copies of the Chieftain’s Report, the Treasurer’s Report and the minutes of the 2018 AGM will be available on the evening. THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGTo vote at the AGM, you must be an active ordinary member. All memberships are up for renewal at the end of March unless you joined after the 31st December 2018; then, your membership is valid until the end of March 2020.Any member who wishes to raise an issue under 'Any Other Business' should email chieftain.ssas@gmail.com  no later than three days before the AGM. The AGM is free to attend but, as we need to know the numbers, please reserve your place in the ticket section.AGM AGENDA Confirmation of the minutes of the 2018 AGM Chieftain's Report Treasurer's Report Appointment of Auditors Changes to the make up of the committee (Society Rule 2/original text bracketed with proposed changes in bold):The management of the Society shall be vested in a Committee composed of the Chieftain, Vice Chieftain, Honorary Secretary, Membership Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and no fewer than four and no more than [seven] nine other members, who shall be elected at each annual general meeting of members.
