In this interactive workshop, artist collective from Italy, Love Difference, takes participants through a methodology they have used in their community-based public art since 2002. Led by Filippo Fabbrica, this Masterclass is designed for professionals as well as students in the areas of Art,
Design, Technology and/or social and cultural sectors, who may be new to community work in their
practice/research. The 2.5-day workshop explores considerations artists and designers face in their creative process, covering the following topics: the narrative dimension of the creation, the responsibilities of the gesture, and the sustainability of the production process to enhance the creative process. The workshop is prefaced by a Public Talk and a Pop-up post-workshop, in which participants
will experience Love Difference’s unique ice cream that was created to
stimulate and promote dialogue and exchanges between groups.
