(English text follows japanese)United Rice Ballは、世界初の、特殊な、「おむすびフードイベント」です。おむすび＝Unite。その名前を活かして、お米はもちろん、人と人までも結びます。どうやって？このイベントのルールは２つあります。 その１：日本と、もう１カ国のお米、２つの国のお米を 混ぜた、「２国米ミックスおむすび」を開発。 みなさんに提供します。 これを" United Rice Ball "と呼びます。その２：日本人と、おむすびに使ったお米の国の人、 ２カ国の人で、一緒に食べます。最初の国は、、、スペイン！当日は、日本米 x スペイン米で作ったUnited Rice Ballを3種類と、少しの飲み物と、お米についてのトークと、２カ国のmix DJ プレイをご用意して、お待ちしています。一体、どんな味がするのでしょうか？一緒に食べた人たちには、どんな気持ちが芽生えるのでしょうか？今後、１年に１回、１カ国ずつ、mixおむすびを開発してイベントを行う予定です。世界初の体験を味わいに、ぜひお越しください。---イベント概要---日時：①2019年6月21日（金） 18時-20時（開場 17:30)②2019年6月22日（土） 12時-14時（開場 11:30)③2019年6月22日（土） 18時-20時（開場 17:30)場所：インスティトゥト・セルバンテス東京 2F ギャラリー 東京都千代田区 六番町2−9定員：各50名 参加費：3240円（税込）
2 rices unite 2 countries in one rice ball.
The Japanese word for “rice ball” is Omusubi. Musubi means “unite”, as sticky japanese rice gets united in the hands of the cook. As I was thinking about that word (and maybe also eating omosubi), I came up with an idea. Let’s give rice balls a new role: to unite people. This is the goal behind United Rice Ball. Point 1: Mixing Japanese rice with the rice from another country, we will make a special Omusubi, the first ever United Rice Ball.Point 2: People from Japan and the partner country meet to enjoy the United Rice Balls together.How will it taste? What feelings will people from two countries share while tasting it? We want to answer these questions. We will share variations of United Rice Balls, with drinks and a talk about rices, while our DJ plays a mix of music from both countries. The first United Rice Ball will mix Japanese and Spanish rices. We will prepare 3 recipes: a simple one, a very Spanish one, and… we’ll let you discover the third one.Whether you’re Spanish or Japanese, please come, to share our culture along with some rice balls!
