Creating with iPads
Learn the building blocks of computer programming with an iPad. By using fun apps like Codea, Hopscotch, and Lightbot, students explore the basic elements of programming. While designing their own programs, students will build a tech vocabulary and learn coding fundamentals such as: if/else statements and for/while loops. Students will utilize unique aspects of the iPad, such as multi-touch controls and the accelerometer, in their designs. This course also includes an introduction to web programming and design using HTML and CSS.
Creating with iPads is a 6 week course from January 26 - March 9, 2015. There is no class on February 16.
Class is limited to 15 students. Registration is $660.
Students will be supplied with an iPad and/or computing equipment; no need to bring anything!
