He holds a degree in Computer Science from University of Technology in Graz and Istanbul Teknik and currently lives in Hong Kong. With a research background in swarm robotics, self-regulating systems and emergent intelligence, his current focus is exploring human cognition and language through interaction and play. At the OpenCog foundation he explores the synergy of learned statistical representations and symbolic reasoning. Additionally, he works at Hanson Robotics on deep neural networks for emotional expression, the integration of perception and action into cognition, and sensorimotor reflexes.Zar GoertzelZar Goertzel, M.Sc., is a member of the AI4REASON group at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC). His Master's Thesis was on prototyping offer networks, AI supported barter networks. His doctoral research is on inference guidance for automated theorem provers and mathematical concept learning. He also has a degree in Japanese from the the University of Maryland: College Park.Atushi Ishii | Couger CEOAfter being involved in the development of various services at IBM, he developed multiple large-scale search engines at Rakuten and Infoseek. He has also provided technical cooperation to one of the top teams for Amazon Robotics Challenge, provided AI learning simulator to Honda, and led the development of Cloud Robotics for a Japanese government-backed AI research project. He is currently leading the development of "Connectome" using AI x Robotics x IoT x Blockchain.Ryota Kanai | Araya CEOGraduated from Kyoto University biophysics department. Received Ph.D. in experimental psychology at Utrecht University, Netherlands. Was engaged into research of visual experience and sense of time under the guidance of Shinsuke Shimojo at the California Institute of Technology. The former associate professor at the University of Sussex, England (Cognitive Neuroscience). The world leader in brain structure image analysis.Kazuaki Ishiguro, Lead Blockchain Engineer, Couger Inc.After graduating from high school in Japan, Kazuaki went to university in Los Angeles and started his career as a DJ and started programming when he created music and video contents for live music. He later went back to Japan and worked as a software developer at CTI-startup. He self-taught the development of blockchain. At Couger, he currently leads the blockchain development of “Connectome” and has given a speech at Blockchain EXE’s event and Ethereum’s global conference, EdCon.
