Learn and understand the basics of music-making with Ableton Live with Syafiq Halid, first Certified Ableton Trainer in Singapore and also a sound designer. At the end of the session, participants will be able to put their musical ideas together and grasp unique approaches in music-making.Participants will...- Get a basic feel of Live 10's UI. They will learn the essential functions of LIVE and how to quickly form ideas for the basis of a track.- Touch on the basics of sound design and apply audio effects like reverb, delay, and EQ.- Be introduced to sampling as a commonly used technique in music production and try out some sampling techniques on their own.- Plan for a live performance with the tools introduced earlier, using a MIDI controller or QWERTY Keyboard.-----Please refer below for workshop pre-requisite.• Ableton Live 10 software:- Participants should ideally come with the 30-day trial version of Live preinstalled and authorized. The download link for the software can be found here https://www.ableton.com/en/trial/- In the event that participants do not have Live installed, not to worry, as we will also have the installation files for both Mac and PC on hand.
