She gained curatorial experience at photo institutions in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, and contributed articles to several exhibition catalogues and art magazines. As the chief curator of WestLicht Museum for Photography and OstLicht Gallery for Photography in Vienna, she has been involved in numerous exhibitions since 2010 – covering solo shows from Alexander Rodtschenko: Revolution in Photography (2013) to Julian Schnabel: Polaroids (2018), and topics ranging from New Light: The Dawn of Photography (2019) to Photography as Sculpture (2014). She is in charge of the International Polaroid Collection as part of the OstLicht Collection and co-curated the touring exhibition The Polaroid Project.Since joining the museum in 2008, Priscilla Chua has developed and curated a number of Singapore-themed exhibitions, including Singapore 1960 (2010); EDB’s 50th anniversary exhibition, Transforming Landscapes, Improving Lives: 50 Years of Economic Development (2011); 45–65: Liberation, Unrest… a New Nation (2012) and We: Defining Stories (2014). Priscilla was also part of the team that worked on the 2015 revamp of the Singapore History Gallery, where she focused on the post-war sections of the gallery. Her last exhibition, Witness to War: Remembering 1942 (2017), was a special international exhibition held in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the fall of Singapore.
