The 90 minutes session is a fantastic starter class where you will learn the basics of pattern design, traditional wood block printing, including how to properly transfer crisp, perfect prints onto fabric and create seamless prints. We combine traditional Indian wood block printing, contemporary motif designs and simplify the process so you can even do it at home! With the help of skilled craftsmen in India, various designs are carved into sheesham wood and made into blocks that can withstand multiple prints. You will get to select from a large variety of wood block stamps and use them to print on a MUJI cotton myBag (A3 size) in this workshop. No carving is required. Fee Includes all materials and tools.
