The event kicks off with a team of product, design, marketing and sales professionals interviewing someone who's an expert in their field - an educator, for the November 2014 edition - to discover a problem that can be solved with a good business idea. Once they've determined the root of the problem, the rest of the event is spent creating a 'prototype' of the new business: A brand and its core values, a product or service to sell, a pricing strategy, a sales and marketing approach, even a financial forecast. At the end of the event, the prototype company is pitched to the potential client for feedback and hopefully commitment to be Customer Number One. What's next?
