These three words: Salam, Pecah, Laut, are associated with each band's identity to form a new brand that consolidates the music of a new era and a new brotherhood. Salam Pecah Laut aims to push post-rock as the nature of this genre is to break the boundaries of known musical structures set from earlier rock staples into something new. These bands are not the first of this breed, but Junklist dubs Dé Fusion, GLASS and South China Sea as "the trinity of today's local post-rock".Despite the abstract nature of their music, this tour allows them to play along with bands new and old, of different genres and locations-in an effort to uniting listeners to decentralise the music scene along the circuit one region at a time. Salam Pecah Laut tour merchandise, of which the branding was interpreted and designed by Jien Li, will be available for preorder via social media and will be on sale at every gig throughout the tour. Projection artist, Faris Zahari will be travelling with the bands to complete the abstract experience live.
