In the exhibition, we introduce the beauty of MUJI’s Japanese porcelain, and the discovery of a part of our diminishing local heritage through a partnered showcase with Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle.Learn more about Singapore's last dragon kiln, the process of pottery making and get hands-on with handbuilding technique to mould and create your own chopstick stand through a 90 minutes workshop. The workshop will be personally led by Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle's third generation potter – Ms Stella Tan. A passionate pottery lover who believes pottery industry is more than just about mass producing wares or firing the kiln. Through this workshop, you will learn: An introductory to pottery making. Working with clay, painting and glazing. Each participant gets to create their own chopstick stands (Estimated 4-5 chopstick stands, depending on size of each chopstick stand). The chopstick stands will have to go through kiln firing process at Thow Kwang and will only be ready for *collection in 3-4 weeks’ time. *Self-collection at MUJI Plaza Singapura  / Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle (85 Lor Tawas, Singapore 639823).*Notification will be via email provided in peatix form submission.  Suitable for age 7 and above. All materials provided and no prior experience required. Please note that wheel throwing is not involved in the workshop.
