Gain an insight into the wonderful world of ‘Ukiyoe’ prints with real-life examples of traditional and contemporary prints.This water-based technique is non-toxic and participants will learn the process of stencil transfer, block carving, paper preparation and printing. All tools and materials are provided. Participant numbers will be limited to 4 persons. Instructor Jennifer Lim has trained in Kyoto under renowned printmaker Akira Kurosaki. You'll be able to take home your own prints on professional washi paper and a carved block to display. Perfect class for making some greeting cards!
