Join us at Noise Mayhem: Art Innovators in the Digital Age and hear from multi-disciplinary artists Brian Gothong Tan and Amanda Tan (Empyreal) as we discover how they use and incorporate digital technology in their artistic practice.  Learn about the possibilities of how digital technology can be used as a tool and more, meet other like-minded people, and share your ideas on how technology can enable the arts to be more engaging, inclusive and accessible.About Noise Mayhem:Bringing together a community of young arts enthusiasts and industry experts, Noise Mayhem aims to broaden perspectives through workshops and talks on diverse topics relating to the arts and to young people.About Brian Gothong Tan:Brian Gothong Tan is one of the leading creatives in Singapore and is best known for his cutting-edge and highly engaging works in theatre, film and installation art. His works have been featured in numerous productions which have toured successfully in many countries like Italy, USA, Korea and the United Kingdom. His eclectic - and strange - use of multimedia in theatre earned him the “Best Use of Multimedia” award in the 2005 Life! Theatre Awards, as well as “Best Multimedia Design” in 2008, 2012 and 2016. His latest projects include Tropical Traumas (Singapore International Festival of Arts 2016), Into the Wild (Art Science Museum, 2017) and Lost Cinema (2018) under NAC’s Creation Grant. He was conferred the Young Artist Award in 2012, and more recently, the Singapore Youth Award in 2015.About Amanda Tan (Empyreal):Amanda Tan is a filmmaker, director, visual designer, writer and artist based in Singapore. Her music videos and short films have been screened and nominated for awards at various film festivals, including the NYC Indie Film Awards, Singapore Short Film Festival and Salento International Film Festival (Italy). Amanda was also an executive producer on the Berlinale Silver Bear award-winning acclaimed film, Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis. She’s also recently shown her video installation piece The .Wavs at the D/SINI Arts Festival at Gillman Barracks, and has created live content for major local music festivals Laneway, Neon Lights, Mosaic, Ultra and Singapore Inside Out.
