On the way to Telok Ayer Street you will learn more about the great diversity of the Chinese community in mid-19th century Singapore, and the spirit of mutual assistance as provided by the Clan Associations.You will visit UNESCO awarded Yueh Hai Ching and Thian Hock Keng temples – great examples of SEA temple architecture - where you will meet gods and goddesses and learn about Chinese religions and symbolism.You will discover that Chinatown was not only a Chinese enclave by visiting one of the oldest Indian Muslim mosques.
