Album Lauch To quote the man himself “I like to think of the album as a little log book. A log book of all my trials in this wonderful, continuous journey called life. In this album I have lived and breathed moments with various different musicians, this is the start of my musical journey. Time to breathe life into my little log book.” -Glen Wee Glen’s first solo album, Sounds in the City, is set for digital release come the 11th of January 2019. He invites you to celebrate the launch of his album with a live performance. Trusted that you will be in the hands of good coffee and great company. The launch will showcase songs from the album and maybe a little somethin somethin Glen has in the works. A smooth blend of ambient pop/folk and soul with a diverse range of influences, Glen aims to re-create sonically the cinematic production of his album.
About Glen Wee
Glen Wee has come a long way from experimenting with new sounds to rooting his music to old flavours. He draws inspiration from an eclectic and diverse range of music. His early influences stemmed from the stylings of Jason Mraz and the soulful funk of the Bee Gees. As his music and songwriting flair progressed, Glen drew deeper inspiration from contemporary folk and soul music. With a keen eye for delicate melodies and R&B vibes and combining his writing chops with a unique and personal flair, Glen’s sound is truly unique to his own.
