Guest Speakers Mark Keenan Managing Director, Global Commodities Strategist and Head of Research Asia Pacific, Societe Generale Mark Keenan is Managing Director and Global Commodities Strategist and Head of Research Asia Pacific. He is based in Singapore. For the last six years, Societe Generale has been voted by the industry as the Best Overall in Commodity Research in both Risk and Energy Risk. Immediately prior to joining Societe Generale, Mark was CEO of Cubit Commodity Research, a firm dedicated to fundamentally-driven commodity investment strategies. Prior to Cubit, Mark worked in the asset management and hedge fund industry at RWC Partners in London and before that, as Head of Commodity Investor Products (ETD) at UBS Investment Bank in London. Mark has over 17 years of experience in commodity trading, sales, research and strategy. His experience extends to all the major energy, industrial metal, bulk, precious metal, and agriculture markets across all instruments and into related asset classes. He has worked with a wide range of clients, including corporates, trade houses, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, pension funds, private banks, family offices and hedge funds, across a variety of investment, hedging and trading mandates. Zoe Anderson Head of Market Analysis, Integrated Supply and Trading, BP SIngaporeAs the Head of Market Analysis for Integrated Supply and Trading at BP, Zoe Anderson is responsible for driving the research agenda for the eastern hemisphere oil analytics group. The team develops specific trading balances, valuation models, and market views and coordinates globally on cross-commodity, cross-regional, and global thematic research projects.Before moving to Singapore, Zoe was Manager of Market Analysis for BP Canada, and led a team of analysts in support of the trading, marketing and business development initiatives of the North regional gas, power and NGL’s commercial team.Zoe joined BP Canada Energy Company in May 2004. Since joining BP, Zoe has held a variety of international roles, all of which have been focused around providing short term, “pretrade” supply, demand and pricing analysis associated with various commercial strategies. Her span of expertise reaches across commodities: gas, power and NGLs as well as across all regional markets within North America.In addition, Zoe is passionate about Energy Literacy: at BP, in the classroom and in the community. She has been the co-chair of the Graduate development program in Canada and executive sponsor of programs like BP University, the BP Canada Trading Competition at the University of Calgary and the Rotman International Trading Competition.
