Japanese for “chit-chat,” Pecha Kucha originated in Tokyo in 2003 and has since grown into an international speaker series based on a simple format: 20 images x 20 seconds. Presenters get 6 minutes and 40 seconds to share their story in a slide-show format.
Held four times a year in Penticton, the popular not-for-profit series brings together a diverse of range of Okanagan thinkers and doers in the arts, business, design, architecture, mental health, entrepreneurship, biology, journalism and many other fields.

Location: Cannery Brewing, 198 Ellis Street, Penticton, BC
Time: Doors open at 6:00pm. First presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. There will be two intermissions.
Come early to get a seat.
