Such planning prepares for the day when you can’t be there for them. It is an instrument for anyone with family and dependants. Without it, the distribution of your assets will be decided for you, and chances are you will not like the default plan.

He has many years of private wealth management, investment, insurance and training. He has Degrees in Law, Finance and Mathematics. He is the author of several books including Make Your Money Work for You (3rd ed) and Islamic Finance: Why It Makes Sense (2nd ed).
