We will be going through the basics of using saws, soldering irons and stitching needles to create your very own teepee display for those lovely animals! And after that, you can create any mini creation ideas you can imagine with the tools and materials available. For the diorama, participants will learn how to cut and screw wood using hand and machine, solder an LED light onto an animal PCB board, stitch their own mini teepee tent using 2 different techniques and use the 3D pen to create ‘grass and vegetation’ around the base! TINKER THURSDAY is a regular session of hands-on learning for newcomers and hobbyists alike interested in learning new crafts. For every session, there may be different types of content that each participant can bring back home, while testing the waters of the various craft skills that they would like to be doing. Recommended for everyone, including kids aged 7 & above. VENUE/DIRECTIONS TINKER THURSDAY will be held at Social Collider which is within walking distance from one-north MRT, Fusionopolis, TIMBRE+, BLOCK71 and JTC Launchpad. If you're driving, you may park at the nearby open-air carpark or at the parking lots in buildings around one-north MRT. And yes, there are multiple food options around.
