The NTU Community Herb Garden is dedicated to the cultivation of such plants and is home to more than 300 species of tropical plants and herbs with medicinal properties. Ng Kim Chuan founded the Garden in 2009, together with a small group of volunteers comprising of staff, students and members of the public, to serve as a charitable resource of medicinal herbs for the poor and the needy. Ng will give a tour of the Garden, with the assistance of Lee Jin Long, NTU student, and share his knowledge and work surrounding these medicinal herbs, especially as alternative treatments for cancer and chronic illnesses.Programme will be held in Mandarin.Venue: NTU Community Herb Garden, Nanyang Technological University, Nanyang Avenue near Jalan Bahar Gate.Meeting Point: NTU CCA Singapore, Blk 43 Malan RoadOne-way transportation from NTU CCA Singapore to NTU Community Herb Garden will be provided.Please read before reserving a ticket:Admission is free but registration is required. If you are planning to attend with more than 1 person, please indicate the number of tickets you would like to register for. We will send a message nearer to the event date to confirm your participation again. As we have had registered participants who did not show up on the date of the event, we request that you let us know as soon as possible that you are unable to make it so that your ticket will be released. This is to give opportunities to other deserving participants on the waiting list. We will not accept unregistered walk-ins. If you are unable to reserve Standard tickets due to full capacity, please register your interest on "Waitlist."
