Opera scenes are currently being created by people from more than 30 countries around the world for this project. The final production will be featured on the internet on 12/12/18. The 25/11 event at Wisma Geylang Serai will mark an important effort made by people in Singapore coming together to SING the concern and awareness of ocean crisis, plastic colonization, and solutions for sustainability. We welcome singing or rhythmic audience to be part of this opera scene filming. Before the actual filming, audience will participate in a brief session of rhythm improvisation with plastic instrument workshop and a fun choral singing movement workshop which will become part of the short opera scenes created by OperAsia young opera and adult opera makers.Please bring a used plastic product from home such as noisy plastic bag or disposable water bottle to the event for music making. Song Sharing Session The singing day event will end with a casual Song Sharing Session featuring mostly songs related to ocean offered by adult singers and children after the scene filming. Participating audience and public are all welcome to sing-a-long or just quietly enjoy. Registration on or before 23/11, Free of charge.
