This passionate piece incorporates intricate hip and torso work, while adding the distinct arm and foot patterns characteristic of the Spaniards. This piece, although could be danced solo, will utilize a bit of call-and-answer sections, perfect for groups who are used to dancing together, and the various combinations of the choreography could be easily incorporated into fusion pieces. If possible, please bring a long, wide skirt. Although she discovered Middle Eastern dance purely by chance, her interest in expression started at an early age and was channeled into ballet training, in addition to piano and voice lessons as well as drawing. However, belly dance became her main addiction which she sustained by seeking instruction with numerous local teachers as well as visiting master performers.
