Without turning your home into a classroom, you can create a family home that is personal, inviting and unique, while promoting independence, helpfulness and concentration in your children.In this 2hr workshop, you will Tour a Montessori-inspired  home in a HDB flat     Learn basic design principles like form, function, flow and sightlines  Be guided to use space planning to design one Montessori/ child-friendly space in your home Discuss storage and toy rotationThis workshop is suitable for:-Parents who want their children to feel independent and empowered at home-Parents who have just moved house, relocated, or renovated-Anyone who would like to make a few small, child-friendly changes to their home environment -Families living in small spaces This workshop is not suitable for-Parents interested in interior decorating/ styling (as this workshop focuses more on design principles that help a home to work for all its occupants)Your trainer is Jasmine, the blogger behind Three Minute Montessori (https://threeminutemontessori.wordpress.com). Jasmine is AMI-trained as an Assistant for 3-6 and 6-12 Levels from the prestigious Maria Montessori Institute, London. (AMI, not to be confused with MMI in Singapore, is the internationally-recognised association Dr Montessori founded to preserve and promote her legacy.) She also holds Interior Design Certificate Level 1 from UK design university, Central Saint Martin’s. Jasmine combines her knowledge of interior space planning with authentic Montessori principles taught to her during AMI training to bring you this unique workshop. This workshop will run only if there is a minimum of 5 participants. This is a workshop for parents ONLY that involves discussion and hands-on planning of your space; please arrange childcare for your child so you can reap the most from the session.
