Evolve Arts adult acting class presents:

Too much light makes the baby go blind.

Join us for a night of fun as we take on our own (Singapore inspired) version of the show of the same title, made famous by the Neo-Futurists in Chicago and New York.

Too much Light is a fast paced, audience driven evening of short plays. With the audience choosing the order in which they see the plays, every performance promises to be a different roller coaster of emotions.

Doors open: 7.30pm
Show starts: 8.00pm

Drinks available at the theatre.

What is Too much Light?

Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind: 30 Plays in 60 Minutes (TMLMTBGB) was the longest running show in Chicago and the only open-run Off-Off-Broadway show in New York. Starting in 1988, the show ran 50 weekends of the year until the end of 2016. As its subtitle states, the show consists of 30 short plays performed in a 60-minute space, written, directed, and performed by a small ensemble called the Neo-Futurists. The plays tend to be a mixture of autobiography and performance art, as with much of the Neo-Futurists' work.
