Prabir has also worked extensively in the telecommunications field including roles in NTT-DoCoMo and Motorola.Corentin Roux dit BuissonHead of Data Science at Zalora (South-east Asia)Corentin's team at Zalora (an APAC online fashion retailer) provides automation and machine learning capabilities to business units. Interesting things happening at Zalora include purely functional software deployment (NixOS), parallel columnar data warehouses (Redshift), and concurrent programming in Haskell. Prior to starting the team, Corentin built early BI at the Australian online retailer The Iconic (now part of Zalora). Prior to that, he worked for Louis Dreyfus Commodities in Geneva. Shonali KrishnaswamyHead, Data Analytics Department at Institute for Infocomm Research Dr Shonali Krishnaswamy holds a continuing/tenured appointment as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University. Prior to this, Shonali was a Senior Lecturer (2006 - 2009) and an Australian Research Council (ARC) Australian Post Doctoral (APD) Fellow (2003-2005) at Monash University. She holds a PhD (Computer Science, 2003) and Master of Computing (1998) from Monash University, a Bachelor Science (Computer Science, 1996) from the University of Madras, India, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (2006) from Monash UniversityJustin ChooChief Executive Officer, KnorexJustin is in charge of the daily operations in Knorex, in which he oversees the overall strategic business and technical directions. A father of two girls and a boy, Shehryar has lived and worked in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Pakistan, India, US, Philippine, Netherlands, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. He started out with Shell and entered the banking industry through brief stints in Academia and Government. He helped run a family-owned bank in Pakistan before returning to Singapore in 2010. Ng Kek WeeChief Technology Officer, GNosis AnalyticsDr. Ng holds a Ph.D. in Services Oriented Architecture (SOA). His first start-up was distinguished as 'The Best Services Oriented Architecture' consulting firm out of 15 countries in East Asia (incl. China) according to both Oracle and IBM and was acquired by China's biggest outsourcing company Pactera Technology Inc. Dr. Ng also led Savvis from just a typical hosting company to become the largest Cloud company for big business, which they were acquired for $3.2 billion by Century Link.Sidney YeeSenior Vice President, ETPLDr Sidney Yee is currently CEO of DxD Hub, in charge of the overall operations. Double-hatting as the Senior Vice President of ETPL’s Investments & Spinoff Management division, Sidney comes with over 20 years of experience in a career that spans across research, investments, operations, management and entrepreneurship development. A serial entrepreneur, Sidney has been actively involved in technology innovations translation and start-ups development. She is a member of SPRING Singapore’s Network of MedTech Advisors, as well as a member on the Creativity and Innovation Consultative Panel of Malaysia Productivity Corporation. Sidney has invested and started technology companies in her personal capacity as well as in her capacity with Bio*1Capital, and continues to advise some of these companies in the medical device space.
