Why Python? "Python is the most-searched programming language in 2018." - PYPL PopularitY of Programming Language Index.Python is a free and an open-source programming language developed by Guido van Rossum. The reason why Python dethrones other programming language is because of its simplicity and availability to be used in many areas of expertise such as web applications development, data science applications, artificial intelligence, and more. Python has gained its popularity among data scientists over the recent years because of its excellent performance and powerful visualization and predictive analyses libraries. If you are wondering where you should start to build your path in having the sexiest job of the 21st century: Data Scientist that is, join us to learn and discuss different aspects of Python that is perfect for your road in being a successful data scientist! Who Should Attend? If you are a researcher, student, developer, IT professional, or software engineer or you have programming concepts, this talk on Python will be your door to the world of Data Science! Level Of Understanding: Beginner to Intermediate What You Will Learn:  1- Understand what Data Science is2- Determine the main skills that you need to be a data scientists 3- Understand the life cycle of any project in the data science field4- An introduction about Python as a programming language5- Understand the relationship between Python and the life cycle6- Understand why Python is great for you as a data scientists7- Overview about companies and projects that use Python8- The opportunities of the data scientists9- The future of Python10- Demos to show how we can get valuable insights from the data using Python Meet Your Speaker: Muhammad Samer Sallam | AI Developer and TrainerSamer has been working in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning since 2014.In 2014, Samer was hired by Damascus International Airport as a Control and Automation Engineer for 9 months. During his job, he developed multiple automated systems to control all conveyor belts in departure hall using PLCs and HMIs. In the middle of 2015, Samer was hired by Rachis Systems Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia as a Research and Development Engineer. After one year, he was promoted to be the Research and Development Team Lead. During his job, he led multiple projects in the field of computer vision using traditional machine learning algorithms like SVM and decision trees, and modern deep learning algorithms like artificial neural networks and convolutional neural networks. Also, he worked in multiple projects in the field of meta heuristics optimization algorithms like genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization. In addition to, he worked in developing simulation environments for multiple network routing protocols like LAR, OLSR, and AODV. Now Samer is hired by a company in Turkey for developing a web application for analysing the generated content on social media websites like Facebook and twitter. In the research field, Samer has two research articles published in juried journals. The first one is about developing an algorithm to analyse a video captured by a kinect camera to recognise the human action in the video. The second one is about developing encryption algorithm using artificial neural networks. At the beginning of 2018, Samer started his master research in the field of computer engineering (artificial intelligence) where he is working on detecting diabetic retinopathy from fundus images using the state of art algorithms in the field of deep learning. As a trainer Samer conducted more than fifteen training sessions and talks in 2018 about artificial intelligence and data science. He taught Python programming language for beginner and advanced level. Also, he taught how to use Python in advanced topic like Tensorflow from google and keras for deep learning, NLTK and spacy for natural processing, and other data science libraries.
