Workshop Description
In the workshop, we will look at normal and slightly bended (fish-eye) perspectives. We will explore different compositional ideas, the basics of sketching large crowd of people and the use of framing devices. We will look at ways to place different focal points in the composition to create interest.
Here's the list of what to bring
1. A sketchbook (Suggestion: A Moleskine watercolour sketchbook which allows you to create a panorama sketch in one spread)
or a long watercolour paper pad)
2. Drawing pens and pencils
3. Watercolours and brushes
4. A stool for you to sit on Minimum 8 participantsMaximum 15 participants
Instructor biography
Gary is a co-founder of Urban Sketchers Hong Kong. As a Hongkonger, he loves to document parts of the territory which are either at risk of, or have been protected from the city’s redevelopment projects. Gary is also a studio artist who oftentimes creates studio paintings which depict the many facades of Hong Kong.
